Financial Advisor, Jr. Partner
One of the first tasks of any successful business does is figure out “their why” and communicate that through a mission statement. I think that every person should take the time and develop their own personal mission statement. A statement that to help guide your decisions and focus you on the areas that are most important. After several iterations, I landed on a Personal Mission Statement that I live by everyday: “To inspire happiness, uplift others with positivity and enjoy life’s journey to the fullest.” This philosophy is engraved into my planning approach and the conversations that I have with clients. It’s my passion to help clients navigate through the twists & turns of life to find their happiness & enjoyment. Working together we build & optimize a plan around their finances to make this possible.
Over my career I have developed expertise in the areas of complex executive compensation packages (RSUs, NQSOs, ISOs, ESPPs, Deferred Compensation Plans, Etc...), estate strategies, succession planning, small business retirement planning, savings optimization, education planning and philanthropic planning. I pride myself on my commitment to understanding the passions, priorities and goals of our clients and rely on my attention to the details when putting together customized plans.
I was introduced to the world of wealth management at a very early age. My mom ran a solo small business as a graphic designer, made sure that she was at every sporting event, was always the first to step up to help a friend and made sure that our household was always taken care of, but that left her little time to focus on her personal finances. One day she turned to me for help, and I was immediately hooked. When I turned 16 years old, I started my first internship at a local wealth management firm. Then, in 2016, I was given the chance to intern with The Parr McKnight Wealth Management Group and have been here ever since. Soon I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Business, earning dual degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management, in 2017. I maintain a commitment to continuing my education and earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2019 and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation in 2022. In 2023, I was invited by my partners to join the leadership team as a Junior Partner.
I grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota and enjoyed everything that Minnesota has to offer, from boating on Lake Minnetonka in the summers to skating on the ponds in the winter. My adolescence revolved around sports and the memories and lessons learned have shaped the person that I am today. By focusing on hard work, strategy, and commitment, I learned what it takes to be a part of a successful team, through celebrations and defeat. I keep a special place for to all of those who helped along my journey in sports.
In 2022, I married my high school sweetheart, Maddie, and we live in Eden Prairie, MN with our Siberian husky, Arrow. We enjoy being outdoors (Arrow especially likes long walks!), spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
As a team, it is our mission to enhance the quality of our clients’ lives and bring prosperity and blessings to those we serve. I believe that a comprehensive wealth management plan is a key component to maximizing opportunity and happiness throughout our clients’ lives.
